7/12/2008 - Are You Serious. . .?
Yes, I updated the website. We’re also seriously getting back on track as a band and things are going very well. After a near six month hiatus, practices are being taken more seriously, and are occurring at least twice a week. While heavy drinking is still involved at each practice, we are still more productive than we ever have been, and hey, you gotta practice like you play right?
The morale is good all around right now. We are quickly putting new material together, as well as making drastic improvements to our older material. The ease in which this fluidity is occuring, as well as hating our day jobs, is motivating all of us to a degree it never has before.
Soon we will begin merchandising as well. We plan on spending gig money on t-shirts, more CD’s and perhaps some posters. Jadie has made several shirt designs and I have gotten feedback from several of you and we hope to have those made within the next month. We will be selling them from $10 - $15 depending on sizes, and unless you’re my wife or child, don’t ask me for a free one you cheap bastard.
Also expect new songs to be recorded and posted right here at www.bestoffools.com and at www.myspace.com/theiowaband .
